"London, August 13 (ANI): Three men from the US have claimed that they have found the body of the mythical ‘Bigfoot’, and intend to present the animal’s body as the conclusive proof.

 

Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, is an alleged ape-like creature said to inhabit remote forests, mainly in the Pacific northwest region of the United States and the Canadian province of British Columbia.

 

According to a report in the Daily Telegraph, the three men plan to release a photo of their Bigfoot and what they claim is DNA evidence at a news conference in Palo Alto on August 15th.

Ja, for hvis du finner bigfoot, en verdenssensasjon, noe som vil føre til at du havner på forsiden av alle vitenskapelige (og uvitenskapelige) tidsskrifter, så gjemmer du den i en fryser og venter.

Er jo en enorm scam, men de som utfører den har det jo bra, tjener penger og oppmerksomhet på dette. Skulle ikke forundre meg om de ikke til og med drar en del investorer til forskningen med et litt skurrete photoshop bilde.

 

På bildet i spoileren er det vel litt skurrete til å være tatt av to folk som hele dagen leter etter bigfoots? Da burde du vel i alle fall ha skikkerlig utstyr??

Bigfoot myten er jo egentlig en fantastisk myte. Jeg har forøvrig pratet med noen jeg kjenner som vokste opp i "bigfoot teritory". Det han hadde å si om saken var at å si at bigfoot eksisterte gikk i mot alt det han trodde på, men han skulle ærlig innrømme at enkelte av de skogsområdene var jævlig skumle og steder han selv som voksen mann aldri ville funnet på å bevege seg i.

"An independent investigator in the US has proved that two men who said they had found Bigfoot's remains were actually pulling off a hoax.

 

Expert Bigfoot tracker Tom Biscardi thought that Matthew Whitton and Rick Dyer's claim to have found the monster was genuine at first.

 

They had given him a sample from the body which matched ape/human DNA.

 

After paying them a fee to hand over the body, Biscardi's team was taken to the body in Georgia.

 

Private detective Kull said that they had to thaw out the frozen corpse to investigate it.

 

"Within one hour we were able to see the partially exposed head," Kulls said.

 

"I was able to feel that it seemed mostly firm, but unusually hollow in one small section. This was yet another ominous sign."

 

"Within the next hour of thaw, a break appeared up near the feet area. ... I observed the foot which looked unnatural, reached in and confirmed it was a rubber foot."

 

While Kull was investigating the corpse, the two fraudsters insisted that Biscardi himself hold a press conference with them to announce the find.

 

Later, upon discovering he had been victim to a hoax he called the duo at their California hotel.

 

They admitted it was a hoax and agreed to sign a promissory note at a meeting set for 8am at the hotel.

 

But when Biscardi got there, he found that they had left."

Om nokon hadde funnet ein bigfoot, kvifor ikkje tatt skikkelege bilete? Alle sånne ting der me blir presentert 1-2 mørke, halvdårlege bilete er garantert falske. Hadde eg funnet ein bigfoot ville eg tatt bilete som ein gal.
