Hvorfor er det i det hele tatt snakk om å selge Perch? Fin mann å ha i troppen. Om det er noen som skal ut døra før Perch så er det Gosling, Obertan og Williamson. Blir jævlig forbanna om Perch blir solgt, men at vi blir sittende igjen med de tre over.

Newcastle United defender Fabricio Coloccini's potential departure to San Lorenzo is looking increasingly unlikely, the Evening Chronicle has reported.

Despite reopening negotiations for a second time with Newcastle, San Lorenzo's audacious attempt to relocate the 31-year-old is on the brink of collapse.

 

Initially the club had hoped to take Coloccini on a free transfer due to the player's desire to return home for personal reasons.

 

However, Newcastle are adamant that they must receive a fee - something San Lorenzo have struggled to muster due to the lack of money in the country's domestic game.

 

The club had hoped businessman Marcelo Tinelli would be able to find backers to fund the deal. Yet, despite his best attempts, the Evening Chronicle claims the majority of the club's wealthy fans would prefer to see the money invested on younger talent.

 

A club insider told the newspaper: "The people who can help us don't want to invest in Coloccini. They feel that the money could bring in a number of younger players instead.

 

"And that's how it would be spent. It now looks impossible that Coloccini could play here next season. It looks like the end of the story. Even big clubs like Boca Juniors and River Plate are struggling financially here."

 

Still with three years to run on his Magpies contract, manager Alan Pardew is set to meet with the centre-back again next month to emphasise his importance to the team and convince him to remain at the club.

CHEICK TIOTE has given boss Alan Pardew a timely boost by declaring his ­intent to stay at Newcastle for the long term.

 

While team-mates Yohan Cabaye and Papiss Cisse have, in the past week, cast doubts on their Toon ­futures, the Ivory Coast midfielder has no thoughts about moving on.

 

Indeed, after indifferent form last term, Tiote wants to lead Newcastle’s charge up the table in the forthcoming campaign.

 

“I will be a Newcastle player next season and want to play here for many years to come,” he said.

 

“Last year was difficult but we can again challenge for Europe.”

Ifølge Sky Italia er Anzhi klar for å legge inn et bud på £25m (!) for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Håper Newcastle bare dropper å bruke tid på han nå, og heller fokusere på spisser det er mulighet til å kjøpe. Vi kan ikke konkurrere med Dortmund, og russiske milliardærer.

Har det blitt sagt noe mer om Wilfried Bony? Han har jeg trua på...

Scott Wilson og Mark Douglas som er journalister i nord-øst sier det er interesse i Bony, men at det mest sannsynlig ikke blir noe aktivitet i forhandlinger før i juli, og at de fleste i styret er på ferie. Det er kommet indikasjoner på at West Ham er klare til å legge inn et bud på £12m, så jeg er litt bekymret for at vi blir å ligge på latsiden og være trege. Ender vel opp med Carlton Cole i stedet for, som er uten kontrakt og er gratis.

Kort fortalt, ja. De ble fjernet for 14 år siden når stadion ble utvidet og plassert på eiendommen til vår tidligere eier Sir John Hall. Der har de ligget i skogen fram til i dag, og skal nå bli renovert og satt opp igjen foran stadion til sesongstart.
