brage_sk Skrevet 12. juni 2008 Del Skrevet 12. juni 2008 (endret) Tema: Romeo and Juliet Oral exam English spring 2008 Time: 20 minutes per pupil (We are two) Part 1. Romeo and Juliet. You have worked with William Shakespeare's play Romeo and Juliet in several ways. First, give a Short summary of the plot, including short sketches of the main characters. Then compare and contrast the result of the performance in class with the film or the play at the theatre. Try to use words what are typical of drama and the theatre. Part.2 Pick one of these tasks, one task per pupil if you work as a pair: (yes we do) 1. The Pogues: 'Street of Sorrow / Birmingham Six'. Talk about the topic of this text includeing historical background. 2. Toeckey Jones: 'Stay Well, Live Well'. Talk about the topic of this text, include historical background. 3. Art Buchwald: 'The Good and the Bad'. Talk about the topic of this text, including historical background. 4. Talk about yourself and your home place (hobbies, interests, hopes/expactations for the future, further education, etc.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What I would like some help with was; -Some ideas about the part involving the play Romeo and Juliet -How short is a short summary including a sketches -Would the last scene when Juliet drinks the posion be enough for the short sketch? Every idea is warmly welcome. Thankyou very much. (Do not comment my english, I know it is rubish) Endret 12. juni 2008 av brage_sk Lenke til kommentar
