Hello, Alexander =Αλέξανδρος or Αλέξαντρος Alexandra=Αλεξάνδρα or Αλεξάντρα Now, as for Christian, this only exists in greek as a female name and is actually Christiana = Χριστιάνα. The word christian (not a name of a pesron) has two meanings = 1. Χριστιανός (person who believes in Christ) or 2.Χριστιανικός (as an adjective e.g. the christian way of living) 1 Lenke til kommentar

Great, thanks a lot for your very informative reply. That helped me a lot Are you saying that if I were to write the name "Christian" in Greek, I had to go with the name "Christiana" or what? Or would it be best to just simply drop the Greek spelling? There's no similar names or anything equivalent? Endret 27. mars 2008 av loathsome Lenke til kommentar

So, if you want to write Christian (male) I do not see any other way of writing except writing Χριστιάν or Χρίστιαν, that is, use greek letters. As for equivalents, I don't know if we can speak of such a thing. There are the names (male) Christos (Χρίστος), Christodoulos (Χριστόδουλος) (=a servant of Christ), but of course they are not exactly equals or equivalents. Ha det bra George 1 Lenke til kommentar
