Det er interesant at Fedex bruker en gratiskonto hos Yahoo.fr hvor kundene kan ta kontakt med dem og at de har telefon med retningsnummer til Benin.

 

Det er faktisk en rekke nordmenn som fortsatt går på slike brev og sender personopplysninger, konto-opplysninger, kopier av pass og selvsagt også penger til disse folkene. Straks de leser "million dollars" så slutter den kritiske sansen deres tydeligvis å fungere.

419eater.com er et forum for folk som driver med dette, altså scambaiting eller å lure scammerne. De bruker tid og krefter på å få disse personene til å gjøre idiotiske ting, ta bilde eller video av dette som scambaiterne kan skryte av og noen får faktisk svindlerne til å sende dem penger.
