Problemer med creative zen:vision m

Anbefalte innlegg

Dear ...,

Thank you for contacting Creative Technical Support.

Sometimes there are problems with firmware update when Windows Media

Player 11 is installed. You can uninstall Windows Media Player 11, and

the update the Creative firmware. Once the firmware upgrade is complete,

reinstall Windows Media Player 11.

To uninstall Windows Media Player 11, follow the procedures below:

1. Close all applications, and disconnect your MP3 player from the PC.

2. Click Start, Control Panel, and select Add or Remove Programs.

3. Check Show updates at the top.

4. Under Windows XP - Software Updates, select Windows Media Player 11.

5. Click on the Change/Remove button.

6. If prompted, restart your computer.

7. Click Start, Control Panel, and select Add or Remove Programs.

8. In the Windows Updates section, click Windows Media Format 11

Runtime, and then click Change/Remove.

9. If prompted, restart your computer.

Once that is done you should be able to update the firmware of the

player.

Dear ...

Thank you for contacting Creative Technical Support.

Please enter the Zen Vision M Recovery Mode, where you can perform

simple Recovery operations on your player:

In order to enter your Zen Vision:M's Recovery Mode, slide the Power

switch towards the Power icon and hold the switch in the Power On

position. Push the end of a pin-like object (for example, a

straightened paper clip) into the reset hole, press gently and remove.

Release the Power switch when the Creative logo appears.

The options on the Zen Vision M Recovery Mode are:

1. Clean Up: Performs a disk scan on the player's hard disk. Clean Up

will not remove any files from the player.

2. Format All: Formats the player's hard disk - Note: ALL CONTENS ON THE

PLAYER WILL BE LOST!!

3 Reload Firmware: This option starts the process of reloading the

player?s firmware:

a) download a new firmware for the player from:

http://www.europe.creative.com/support/downloads/

and save it on your PC in the location you will easily find it ( e.g.

Desktop)

b) Select Option ?Reload Firmware? from the player?s Recovery Menu and

then follow the on-screen instructions on your player. This process will

take a few minutes. Please be patient and do not disconnect your player

during the process.

c) Once completed select ?Reboot?.

4. Reboot (Select the Reboot option once you have completed the recovery

operations, in order to restart your player).

If these steps fail to resolve the problem then for your convenience

please find a checklist below. It will help us to assist you further.

Player enters recovery mode

Yes / No

Clean up and reboot successfully completed with no errors Yes / No

Format and reboot successfully completed with no errors Yes / No

Reload OS successfully completed with no errors Yes /

No

Downloaded firmware detects and installs Yes

/ No

Did you get any errors when you tried all the above steps?

noen forslag?
