8800GTX funker ikke

Nok en gang må jeg poste en thread om et "ongoing" problem som jeg har hatt

Det begynte med at min 8800GTX 768 kort ikke ville spilles på en 430 watts PSU, mens boksen anbefalte 450.. Med råd fra andre forum-medlemmer og nVIDIA's knowledge database, kjøpte jeg en antec 650 watts psu.

Den kom, men kortet funker forsatt ikke.

Her er nVIDIA's sprørmsål, og svar fra nVIDIA:

So I recently asked a question of about why my graphics card was acting very strangely, and was recommended to buy a new power supply, since my old (430w) didn't meet the required (450w) usage..

So being a decent human being, I went for an Antec 650 watts, thinking it would hold most stuff in the future.

I got this today, installed it, with the new 8800GTX, and guess what? The 8800 still acts strangely (but doesn't reboot my computer).

I will try to explain some symptoms: The color of any graphical required stuff (like the mouose) SOMETIMES (not as im writing this) flicker, or the colors moves around (some parts of the white mouse go outside the mouse area, no where far though), and when I play Crysis, the "EA" logo gives me around 1 Frame per 10 seconds... but sometimes (when I wait a little) I can even get into the game and play almost decently, until I look at something that (I'm guessing) requires a lot of graphics, then the screen goes black, and comes back again (and windows tells me my graphics driver went AFK, but came back).

If Ya'll want a video of this, I can tape it, since its hard to explain..

I understand from your email that you are using a GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card and you are facing issues using the card.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce the problem you cite with similar hardware.

 

-Are you overclocking your system in any way?

- Is the fan working on your graphics card?

 

I suggest that you test the card in another machine to see if the problem follows the card.
