helgcarl Skrevet 16. november 2007 Del Skrevet 16. november 2007 Hi My wife's computer is a Dell Latitude D505 laptop. We have a D-link DI-624+ Wireless router. She has been connected to the internet for a long, long, time (years). "Suddenly" we lost connection to internet from her computer and it turned out that the computer was not obtaining IP address from the wireless router, i.e. is not connecting properly to the home wireless netwok. (DHCP server is enabled in the wireless router). If I f. i. am manually setting the IP address in the laptop, it connects to the router and I can enter the routers admin page. But I do not get access to the internet even if I manually enter the DNS-adress to my ISP. The main question is thus why the laptop are not allocated / accept IP adresses from the wireless router (I am running my own laptop via the same router to the internet without problems, getting dynamic ip-address from the router). The second question is, if we have to live with static ip address on her computer, how to connect properly to the isp as long as we are properly connected to the wireless router. Thankful for suggestions. Regards, Helge Lenke til kommentar
