Need advice concerning clocking

Anbefalte innlegg

Hi i have a computer thats a bit old, upgraded bits here and there, and i was woundering if i could get some advice regarding how much i can do to it to make it better "clocking it not buying things" Because if i cant get it 500 mhz better atleast, im buying new hardware but that will take a while so, any advice would be appriciated. Currently using Artic cooling L2 on 3000 rpm for cpu coolant.

You could start by trying to increase the fsb by 5 mhz at a time.

I dont think you have much to gain by tampering with the RAM speed or timings.

I hear the fat lady singing for that putter mate :-P

ye did that, think it wouldnt start straight after 200 mhz, what is it then if the computer wont start then when i try start it i get cmos error? xD fixed that after i took the battery out but what is that:P?
