Scanner, error

Hei, jeg kjøpte en scanner forleden dag... Og når jeg da skal innstalere den så merker jeg at det jeg fikk med av program vare, er kun for win98 og 2000.. så jeg gikk inn på siden til msitek som er de som har laget den.

Der finner jeg drivere for winxp.... jeg laster de ned, også følger jeg denne instroksjonen...

 

Windows XP Driver Installation

In order to properly install your Mustek Windows XP driver, the original driver must be removed first. Follow these steps below to remove the old driver (if you have attempted to install this scanner before) and install the new version.

 

Step One – Download the Drivers (TWAIN/PANEL DRIVERS and GENERIC SCANNER MODULE)

 

Important notice – download all files into the same folder on your computer.

 

Download the TWAIN and PANEL file(s) associated with your Mustek scanner. (This could be more then one file.) Example 1200 ub plus you must download all files 1 through 7).

Download the GENERIC SCANNER MODULE Driver File(s) associated with your Mustek scanner. (This could be one(1) file or broken up into 4 files.

Step Two - Disconnect the Scanner

Make sure the scanner is not connected to the computer. Disconnect the scanner's USB plug from the USB socket.

 

Step Three - Remove the Previous Driver Version (If you have previously attempted to install the scanner)

 

Click on Start, Programs, Your Mustek Model and select Uninstall. Follow the prompts to remove the original driver.

 

Step Four - Install the Downloaded Windows XP Driver and Panel Program.

 

Restart your computer

Open the folder that you saved the files into and double click on the file named WEB.EXE – Allow for the installation to take place.

When the twain driver installation is finished, you will be prompted to restart the computer. (IMPORTANT - do not restart computer between programs).

After installing the twain, install the panel program by double clicking on UP_LIB.EXE to begin the installation and follow the installation prompts. When this finishes restart the computer when prompted.

Once the computer has been restarted you will want to connect the scanner to the USB port on your computer.

Follow the onscreen instructions that should pop up.

If you get a "Digital Signature Not Found” dialog box, click on “YES” to continue the installation of the scanner.

 

 

 

Jeg følgte den etter alle punktene ned over. Men når jeg kom til det nedarste punktet, der jeg skal plugge i scanneren og det... Der kom jeg, jeg plugget den i, og forventet å få opp et vidu som beskrevet, men den gang ei.... Har noen noe gode tips å komme med.... Jeg finner den heller ikke i add new hardware... maskinen merker den i usb porten, men den virker ikke... Håper på svar fort..
