Mobilbruk i utlandet

Anbefalte innlegg

If your cell is locked to a Norwegian operator, isn't there's a high chance it will reject Brasilian cards?

True. But if thats the case just use an old phone you have lying around, or buy a cheap non-locket phone.

Paying the fee to your operator for unlocking the phone will most likely be cheaper than paying the bill for using your phone abroad anyway.

Edit: To illustrate:

Using telenor in Brazil would cost you with the cheapest operator (TIM cellular):

6,67 a minute national and 15,57 a minute to Norway

and the most expensive (nextel brazil):

17,11 a minute national and 27,13 a minute to Norway

You wouldn't have to call very long before unlocking your phone would be cheaper.

Of course the cheapest would be to have a phone that supports WLAN, and a good SIP-phone deal. But then you would be limited to places you have access to WLAN.

Point taken, and it's probably wiser to take an older phone to Brazil anyway.
