Ein kar på forumet spør BioWare om dei har fått nokre film-tilbod:

The Mass Effect Universe is just screaming to become the New Star Trek/Star Wars Franchise.If I was a Billionaire I would plop 2.4 Billion on the table for the next 6 Mass Effect movies to be made(400 million each=200mill. for the movie/200mill. for advertising).I was wondering has Bioware received any Movie offers?

We didn't want to mention anything this early, but we're looking pretty good for Dr. Boll to handle this for us. We're really jazzed about it.

 

It looks like most of the filming is going to be in Prague, which looks a lot like an alien world if you spraypaint some of the trees purple. Dr. Boll really impressed Ray and Greg with his concepts for how geth should look in the movie -- some silver spraypaint and a bunch of corrugated cardboard, and pretty much anyone can look like a geth warrior. We're adapting the main Mass Effect game story, from what I understand: a bunch of teens arrive at this summer cottage on the lake where there are these rumors about tourists being killed by "geth warrior" cultists, and, well... I don't want to give too much away.

 

Anyway, we're really excited, and we'll definitely be putting more of this news out once we know more. All I can say for now is that the big spaceship looks just fantastic, especially considering that it was made from a toilet-paper tube, some pipe cleaners, and a little aluminum foil.
