"ok /b/ listen up, I don't even know that much about DDoS shit, but it's obvious nobody is going to do something about the chan war situation, so here's what I know:

 

7chan, anontalk, and a few of the lesser chans began to DDos the shit out of /b/ causing the img server to fall.

 

After this, any /b/tard who had been on 4chan longer than a day knew to rightly go to /x/ as a backup /b/, which was fine for a while but then they DDoS'd that server too causing all the zip servers to fail.

 

Well as you can guess after this, nobody knew where to go, so /b/tards began scattering to any forums they could, including a recently made site called 4anon.org which claimed to be the new /b/ and called themselves . At first the site began littered with cp until a bunch of moralfags began spamming the site to 404 the cp thread, so now nobody can get a discussion going in there with all the spam.

 

Which leads me to my point, what the fuck are we going to do? Right now, there are two forum groups which managed to take down a server with way more traffic than both of them combined, a poser /b/ site calling itself , and we aren't doing shit about it?

 

Well, I'm fucking tired of waiting for somebody else to organize something, so heres what's going to happen:

 

At 10:00 PM eastern time tonight, We are going to use LOIC on 7chan until it's down, and then discuss plans to take out anontalk immediately after. We can discuss how to handle 4anon later, but my bet is as soon as /b/ comes back up, they will just abandon it.

 

help spread these plans to the other boards on 4chan, we are going to need some /b/lackup if we ever hope to accomplish this.

"Good Afternoon, some of you are aware that the image board “/b/” on my website, “www.4chan.org” has been unavailable for a few days. I wish to confess that this is due to an attack but also complications with the federal government and the content within the board. Due to the nature of the random board, some of its content has been classified as illegal such as copyrighted images, child pornography, harassment, invasion of websites; links to pirated or EULA violated files which has got myself into some difficulty. I must stress we are doing all we can to get the image board back online but unfortunately its far from being back online this is due to the following reasons;

• Underage users,

I estimate around 44% of viewers of the Random board are under the age of 18, moderation of underage users is very difficult and cannot be enforced with minimal disruption for legitimate users over the age of 18. With this issue adult content will have to be strictly censored and moderated effectively to ensure users under the age of 18 will not come across adult content meaning 4chan doesn’t get filled for breaking US law.

• Cost

Hosting the world’s largest English image board is a huge difficulty, /b/ - Random is the largest image board on 4chan and consumes loads of bandwidth which leads to high costs, due to the content of the /b/- Random board I struggle to find advertisers and the ones i do find offer very little income to 4chan due to the fact that some users wish to block the ad’s, I strongly advise not to block the ad’s.

• DDoS attacks

4chan is a very popular image board and has been essentially the breeding grounds of “anonymous” although I know many members of “anonymous” do obey the rules, a minority don’t, this has led to some internet users displaying hostile activities to the 4chan image boards such as/b/- Random and /x/ - Paranormal making them unreachable due to the bandwidth at full capacity. I cannot give information out about IP’s and ho is attacking at this point but the information has been passed on to the local authorities for investigation for this criminal offence.

 

 

More about the DDoS attack’s on /x/ - Paranormal and /b/ - Random

 

I wish to ask the internet community especially /b/ - Random not to invade, harass other internet communities, I am dealing with the constant flooding of spam on /b/ - Random but this is especially hard to deal with and invasions, spamming and attacking their websites or person(s) is strictly prohibited on 4chan’s policy, let us deal with it not you. I also stress not to seek refuge in /x/ - Paranormal this yet again violates the rules of use on 4chan seek; http://www.4chan.org/rules

For rules 3 and 4. Due to /x/ - Paranormal becoming a refuge for /b/ - Random users the /x/ - Paranormal board is also down to attacks so I stress to not enter other boards as this disrupts the whole website for other users which may send away valuable viewers.

 

I am extremely sorry for the issues caused, I also would like to say that this website is rubbish and hope you will come back to our version of /b/ - Random on 4chan.
