System crash after new processor

Taken out Pentium D 3.2ghz and put in E6300. Reset the bios and nothing is overclocked but yet every time I am playing DCON (bf2) my system totally freezes.

 

Do I have to reinstall windows xp when you put a new processor in?

 

 

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? What should the voltage be for a stock e6300?

 

How about voltage for the ram? TwinMOS DDR2 PC4200 x 2 http://www.komplett.no/k/ki.asp?sku=306870

Its currently at 1.8v. Does that sound right?

So any ideas what I have done wrong or could it just be a broken processor?

Nevermind!

 

But if you have a probem...a reinstall usually fixes it.

Hoping that perhaps flashing the bios will help. Better support for the e6300 aparently.
