in the past week alone 4 or 5 people traded in their game cube and got a ps2. now other peoples preferences are their own business but there is a common element to these transactions. the cube owners have been boys between 10 and 15 (accompanied by their mammy) and all have requested one game with their ps2- GTA Vice City.

Now I am a cube owner and a Nintendo devotee and this hurts.

And it's not fair, Sony know the story, GTA is like crack to all these preteen boys with their feral cravings for violence and power. I for one believe it is thoroughly unsuitable for these youngsters, I tell the parents, who are pissed off at having to come in because I refused to serve little billy (or corey as the case invariably may be). "it has sex, drugs, swearing. masses of violence and is officially certified as 18"

do any of these excuses warrant letting a 10 year old play a game in which you can kill a hooker after you've banged her, grab the money she took from you and then go on an all out rampage of street carnage with whatever cars and guns you can lay your hands on.

I'm not a censorship twat, but I think GTA was made not to allow all those budding psychos to hone their skills before unleashing them on the real world, but to make people who are old enough to appreciate the humour within, laugh and enjoy some well adjusted and emotionally secure crime."

 

Må si meg enig med fyren. Jeg er ikke en sensur-hysteriker, men 18 års aldersgrense er ikke så dumt når det gjelder gla'vold. Kidsa misforstår jo gjerne sånne spill fullstendig.

skal kansche kjøpe the getaway i morgen.....har gta3,men hva er poenget med å stå med en baseball kølle å slå en pensjonist til blods midt i rushtida uten å bli ettersøkt...!!!! kjøpte meg det pga heftig bilkjøring men i vc ser det ut som om de fokuserer mer på vold og forbrytelser,derfor skal jeg se om the getaway er noe bra biler med ordntlig fart i !!!!!
