Stian89 Skrevet 21. februar 2007 Del Skrevet 21. februar 2007 Hei. Sitter her på en HP Pavilion dv6000 og prøver å installere Ubuntu Edgy Eft. Når jeg satte i og prøvde å boote livecd'en, og akkurat skulle komme til login skjermen, når x starter, blir skjermen svart (ingen virtuelle terminaler (alt+ctrl+Fx) som funker heller). Virker som at skjermen dør / går i standby e.l. Jeg prøvde derretter å boote på nytt med live cd, men under boot denne gangen trykket jeg F4 - VGA, og satte oppløsningen til 1024x768, 32bit. Nå starter plutselig X uten at skjermen blir svart, i tillegg til at oppløsningen er 1280x800 slik den skal være, ikke 1024 som jeg satte den til. Jeg greide nå å installere OS til disk. Når jeg nå prøver å boote OS fra disk, får jeg samme problem som jeg opprinnelig hadde ved å boote OS fra cd, skjermen og alle virtuelle terminaler dør i det X skal starte. (Har også sammenlignet xorg.conf fra livecd og på hd, begge er prikk like) Noen som har forslag til hva jeg kan gjøre? amd turion 64 mobile 2ghz, 1gb ddr2 ram, geforce 7200(hvis jeg ikke tar helt feil) Lenke til kommentar

Gjøres enten i en kommandolinje under menyen når du booter fra live-cd'en eller ved å legge til som parameter bak kernel-image i GRUBs boot-meny (/boot/grub/menu.lst). Lenke til kommentar

Stian89 Skrevet 21. februar 2007 Forfatter Del Skrevet 21. februar 2007 Endret driveren i xorg.conf fra "nv" til "nvidia", rebootet - fikk så beskjed om at "no screens found", men denne gang døde altså ikke skjermen - ergo jeg fikk terminal tilgang. Jeg installerte så nvidia driveren som beskrevet her http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu_Edgy#Ho...er_.28NVIDIA.29 rebooted maskinen - alt funker! takk for all hjelp *happy* Lenke til kommentar
