RostislaV Skrevet 5. februar 2007 Forfatter Del Skrevet 5. februar 2007 thanks for this form that you made Download: Upload: ISP: Price: Connection type: Place: very cosy to read. as I see average speed is about 3-6 Mb and the prise about 40-60 $ ... well - not bad surely, although expensive enough ... but I`m glad that for real damn fast Net like 10-20 Mb you do pay not so much if count this in ratio - price/quality. Barcarolle Skrevet 5. februar 2007 Del Skrevet 5. februar 2007 (endret) I also use another ISP, which is called ICE. They deliver wireless internet, building on the CDMA450 technology, this is a kind of 3G. This service use the 450 MHz bond, so that the radiation isnt that dangerous. The maximum speed is 2 mbit download, the upload i am not sure of. But usually the speed is about 300-1000 kbit, which depends on the wheater, distance to nearest transmitter and so on. This service is pretty expensive, it cost 400 NOK pr. month. But the good thing, is that you can use it most places in Norway, and soon it will be able to use this service in Sweden and Denmark. I know that many norwegians buy this in addition to their normal ADSL (like me) or Fiber cable, so that internet is available other places then just at home, like at our holiday houses (cabins). Barcarolle Skrevet 5. februar 2007 Del Skrevet 5. februar 2007 (endret) Well that is hard, but i read that 450 mhz doesent warm up the tissue that wery much. We do not know how dangerous electromagnetic waves are yet, i dont think that it is dangerous at all. But people complaines about headace and such things by using their cell pohnes, so we cant be sure how these waves affect us. Endret 5. februar 2007 av Jensemann4 Lenke til kommentar
Lars Dongeri Oppholdsnes Skrevet 5. februar 2007 Del Skrevet 5. februar 2007 Radiation from ICE or a router has much lower levels than a cell phone. I.E. Not dangerous at all. Lenke til kommentar

Winnetou Skrevet 5. februar 2007 Del Skrevet 5. februar 2007 prices are usually the same in all of norway, but not all providers got connection posibilities all over the country. It is allso possible to get cable through your TV-cabel provider. This is usually cheaper, and faster (more mb/s pr nok) than regular ADSL, but then again you got to pay some money for the TV channels too). Lenke til kommentar
