Thanks for keeping us posted on the Russian film scene, Rostislav. I don't think "Volkodav" is quite my cup of tea but what other recent Russian movies would you recommend?

Well ... if you so interesting in russian releases - I must take a look what is maybe interesting ...

 

for now for memory -

 

well - "Zhara" (Heat) - very interesting was for me - this is comedy with non-standard screenplay...

 

Or not the new one - but good - "Ohota Na Piran`yu" (Hunt For Pirahna) - it`s action.

 

There were shooting 2 powerful actors-stars -

 

Yevgeniy Mironov & Vladimir Mashkov!

Damn - if You knew how fantastical plays Mashkov!

 

Everybody crazy about him ... such fantastical charming and powerful actor!

Mashkov even had shooting in HollyWood ...

 

well ... did you see the serial "Idiot" ?

 

TV-adoption of Dostoyevskiy novel "Idiot".

 

That`s something ... this is the hi-end top of actor`s mastership!

 

To play better than in this picture following of the famous russian classical literature is simple impossible ...

"9-ya Rota" - really damn powerful picture ...

 

well.. as usual when I had seen this film I did put my article about this ...

 

people did like my comments ...

 

but for this film was a many critica in Russia and VSB generally ...

 

Well, every product of Art always gets the critica - so it`s normal practice.

 

"Idi i smotri" - I did not see this film ...

 

Actually - soviet and modern russian cinematograph so fantastical rich for thousands of good and great movies - so it`s really hard to say what is the best.

 

 

About "Idiot" and others ..

 

actually you can download it from any russian free and legal torrent-trekkers or any hub or any FTP!

 

But I don`t know how it about in Norway ...

 

there are you have the problems with this ...

 

for example in Sweden there are no such problems - cause Sweden really FREE state ... unfortunately Norway is not ...

 

some russian emmigrants who live in Norway and with whom I had talkings - saying that I`m right when I say that Norway is NOT democratical state ...

 

so it is ...

 

OK - this is now the political questions going ...

 

But as I say you can download it - if you want - but it`s all in russian tongue - so I don`t know is suite it to you ...?

subs... yeah - that is very good thing and I have thinking about this long time ago ..

 

Moreover I even did ask some guys here in Odessa to make several translations for some very informative films ...

 

for example documental film about Odessa - "Yuzhnaya Stolitsa" - (South Capital) - as you know maybe, Odessa was a called South Capital of Russian Empire.

 

Moskva is the Capital, although the Capital was Sankt-Petersburg (also called North Capital) - and Odessa - South Capital.

 

So ... for a while nobody did not recalls for this projectts...

 

Who knows - maybe someday I will the create some kind of translate bureau ...

 

It`s a bit seems like Sam Klebanov did start his carreer in cinema-industry.

 

Do you know Sam Klebanov?

 

He is russian emmigrant who lived in Sweden - then he in one fine day start to bring russian new releases in Sweden and new western releseas in Russia.

 

So - from simple courier he became a leader of his own TV-Show at the very respectable russian TV-channel - "Kultura" - it`s non-commercial channel whole dedicatetd to Art! Even NO! any advertisement there.

 

(in Sweden he was a lawyer but did deny this carrer for the Art)

 

So ... who knows - maybe I do takeover the same spot on market as the Klebanov.

 

He is really well-done guy, good professional and very educated about global cinematograph.

 

 

About me ...

 

well... in this Thursday I`m gonna to subscribe the contract with local Actor-Agency...

 

well - sure I did not get the lead-roles and so on - but possibly I`m gonna participate in different projects here in Odessa - ads, clips, tv-serials, movies. etc ...

 

but as statist, episodical roles, second plan actor...

 

but who knows how it can will happen in future ... maybe I will get something more wide and concrete ...

 

besides my musical career awaits me ...

 

for this situation I even get 3 months free for my count at my job...

 

so called "vacancy" - although it`s not - cause I have not pay for this ...

but I so decided and did it ...

 

So in forward the Spring and only Hope ...

sure! Norway is the ONLY place in the World as my HOME!

 

So happened, I`m not guilty ...

 

I love, like, simpathise to many states and cultures ...

 

and can live actually in different states ... cause I do understanding theirs lyfe-styles, mentalities, etc ...

 

but ...... closer than Norway I did not found for my soul ...... and my mind ...

they are too many ... actually this theme is not for discuss the norges mangeler ...

 

Better discuss this in suiteable and fit forum`s field and theme.

 

But unfortunately as I said it`s too much ...

 

Please understand - if you love something very stongly - you always do crtitcise it very strongly!

 

Why ? Cause you want that it has changing to better shape than it is for now ...

 

Moreover - when the state is in a couples steps of earth-paradise and specially spoiling the last steps ....

 

it`s not-understanding and not acceptable for any thinking and progressive brains ...

I don`t know WHY - but I have only letters from russian, african, and american african girls ...

 

And even despite that there is very concretely written what and who exactly I`m looking for ...

 

I`m registered at several norges dating-sites ..... the same results ...

well... I even don`t know what "novinki" (new things, stuffs - fit for material and non-material phenomenas) will be in 2007 year ...

 

Usually wide-speaking about this do begin in Spring.

 

Usual world`s cinematographical practice - all new releases coming up in April, May, June ... and till the Fall, but in Fall the serials coming up ...

 

And in March to begings advertise-campaign for new films.
