dabooo Skrevet 23. januar 2007 Del Skrevet 23. januar 2007 **** QUOTE FRA ANNET FORUM **** **** QUOTE FRA ANNET FORUM **** **** QUOTE FRA ANNET FORUM **** hello there! im looking for a new monitor atleast 20+ LCD wondering if anyone have any tips? cant be a expencive one since my budget is rather small. Currently im using a NEC Multisunc LCD1970GX-gamer for gaming but after my recent hardware upgrade im now able to play every HD clip out there, and i need a monitor to watch movies in 16:9 format, so tired of the black stripes in every movie i watch! been looking around on tomshardware and other sites for some advices, but in the end i gotta turn to you guys, if HD ppl dont know what monitor that owns, who does? 1. Samsung 22" LCD Syncmaster 225BW TCO03 Silver, 1680x1050, 5ms, VGA/DVI, 700:1 or 2. Dell E207WFP 20-inch Widescreen Flat Panel LCD Monitor (Black, TCO99) or 3. Acer AL2216Ws/22" Widescreen/5ms/SILVER/TCO-03 or 4. Lge Monitor 20" Wide TCO-03 DVI 2000:1 5ms Tilt Wide F-Engine S-RGB HDCP DDC / CI (i also want as big as possible) those are 4 of the most promising i found so far, but the price cant go above 3500NOK and the screen gotta be in some kinda store in Norway :-P If anyone know anything about these 4 monitors or anything about something better for the same amount of money, i would be really grateful. tnx!! sry for engelsk Lenke til kommentar
Changis Skrevet 23. januar 2007 Del Skrevet 23. januar 2007 Well, I myself just bought the samsung 225BW from expert for 3800... after exchanging it from a packard bell 22"(don't think you can get any cheaper than that in a store... atleast concerning the 22") and I'm really happy with it for anything from videos and photos to gaming and surfing. but DO NOT buy the Packard bell maestro 220W as they may have a issue with the picture dissapering after a couple of seconds, even though the screen is on. The seller told me that 30-40%!! of them have this issue. Stay Clear. but finding a 22" lcd for 3500 or less in a store is a 0.2% chance (atleast not demo used)... but remember to haggle, and say for instance "I'll give you 3500 right now for that screen" tends to work on some sellers... Boye Skrevet 23. januar 2007 Del Skrevet 23. januar 2007 [english] If you're tired of stripes, they won't really disappear completely using a PC widescreen seing as aspect ratio is 16:10. If you want true 16:9 go for projection solutions or a TV (LCD or plasma). Still, the difference isn't that huge, you can still zoom in (ZoomPlayer highly recommended for custom on-the-fly mousewheel zooming). If you have a widescreen TV "lying about", have you considered hooking it to the PC? Even though it may "just" be a CRT at low resolution, it could still render a nicer looking image than an LCD at that priceregion you are looking at. To some, contrast and color uniformity still counts more than just image resolution and I have to agree - they do have a point Lenke til kommentar
