Har lastet ned test-filen for HD kvalitet fra NRK, .avi, men får ikke spilt denne av i Media Player 11.... Finner ikke noen nye codec-er på microsoft, men får likevel bare lyden fra filen avspilt....

MPz is NOT a codec pack.

MPz is an installation menu, where you can select what you want to download and install. Let's say you select default. MPz will download DirectVobSub, CoreAVC Pro, Koepi's Xvid and Media Player Classic. You can also select AC3Filter, DivX, NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder, QuickTime Alternative, Real Alternative, Windows Media Lite, Winamp Pro and VideoLAN.

 

MPz will not install automatically

It will only open the installation dialogs so you can choose your personal settings.

It will also remove unwanted start menu shortcuts in Windows XP and register the file types to the recommended media player.

 

Codecs - The best there are

DirectVobSub: For those who use subtitles in videos.

AC3Filter: For those of you who have surround speakers and use 5.1 media. [Like CTU x264 HDTV releases].

CoreAVC Pro: For playing x264 encoded (HDTV) video. [Like CTU x264 HDTV releases].

Koepi's Xvid: For playing XviD encoded video. [Like LOL XviD releases].

DivX: For playing DivX encoded video. [Like older Simpsons rl releases].

NVIDIA PureVideo Decoder: For playing MPEG encoded video. [Like HDTV transport streams].

QuickTime Alternative: For playing/streaming QuickTime encoded video. [Like Apple.com and IMDB.com trailers].

Real Alternative: For playing/streaming RealPlayer encoded video. [Like IMDB.com trailers].

Windows Media Lite: For playing/streaming Windows Media encoded video. [Like IMDB.com trailers].
