Heilage Skrevet 20. august 2007 Del Skrevet 20. august 2007 (endret) Did you buy a brand new car? Well, we'll see. I trust my dad to find a good car 9322753 No, it was a 1998. Fruktkake: Have you any idea how bad those cars are for the environment? The batteries are full of really toxic led, which makes it very difficult/impossible to recycle it. And on another note, I wouldn't be caught dead in one. Endret 20. august 2007 av Heilage Lenke til kommentar

Really wanna buy a car myself... thinking about something along the lines of 35-40k. Of course you gotta figure all the registrations and insurance shit and stuff that comes on top of that... It would make it so fucking easy to get to school this year. And also, it turns out that every single tuesday and thursday this year, I have close to 2.5 half hours of free time in between classes, and it would be really nice to be able to just drive home or something, instead of sitting around at school doing shit, i.e nothing. Waiting for the damn bus, which of course always is late, it would just take up half the time traveling forth and back, so it wouldn't really be worth doing. Lidskjalv Skrevet 21. august 2007 Forfatter Del Skrevet 21. august 2007 I paid 83.000kr for my first car, and even that has had a few flaws.9322410 Right now I have car I bought for 40k. I had the pleasure of going to the Pstereo festival in Trondheim - I'm telling you, I had a great time. I was only there to see Valentourettes and NOFX. My body is still hurting from all the pushing and jumping, my throat is soar from all the shouting and singing. You guys who didn't come missed out on a great experience! Lenke til kommentar

NikkaYoichi Skrevet 27. august 2007 Del Skrevet 27. august 2007 (endret) I've never heard of those bands...are they punk? 9369351 NOFX are a punk band, they've been at it since 1983 actually. The lead vocal also plays in "Me First and the Gimme Gimmes". Valentourettes is a rock band, formed from two of the old bands of the late Joachim "Jokke" Nielsen. "Jokke & Valentinerne" and Jokke med Tourettes have become Valentourettes. Endret 27. august 2007 av Quayle Lenke til kommentar

Or am I just being silly blind now? 9370640 I'd say you where both blind, stupid and deaf if you didn't get the political messages in their songs. They, like most if not all punk bands, criticize the government, capitalism, racism - well almost everything. They are also Jewish and grew up in a Jewish community so some of their songs are colored of that too. Like the song "The Brews". Sunset Rubdown - Snake's Gotta Recline shirt(creme ink on a royal blue American Apparel tee (XL's are Gilden), designed by Matt Moroz) - $15.00 9577838 I'm not really sure, I don't know that word so I used my favorite free dictionary: "www.dictionary.com" who had this to say: "Gilden \Gild"en\, a. Gilded. --Holland. Webster's Revised Unabridged Dictionary, © 1996, 1998 MICRA, Inc." What it means in that content is beyond me. It might be some kind of slur? Lenke til kommentar

Kasp Skrevet 1. januar 2008 Del Skrevet 1. januar 2008 (endret) I'm just wondering about a quick expression in Norwegian. How would you translate "Jeg er glad i deg" to English? "I love you" or "I like you" don't really describe the expression fully I think, so would there be any other way to say "Jeg er glad i deg" in English? Endret 1. januar 2008 av Kasp Lenke til kommentar
Lidskjalv Skrevet 1. januar 2008 Forfatter Del Skrevet 1. januar 2008 In certain cases there isn't any good way to translate between norwegian and english. Translators struggle with that every now and the. But in your case I think is quite fine to use. Maybe a bit stronger expression than "I care about you" Lenke til kommentar
