And, ehh my dad is going to pay 3/4 of the car I'm getting.

I don't know much about cars, so my dad is going to help my find a reasonable car, for a reasonable price ^^

That's a fair deal. I got the pretty much same thing, both my elder sister and brother got some pretty expensive stuff when they were 18/19, so they thought it was fair that I got something too. My dad paid for my sister's first apartment in Australia, I think it was, my brother got a car, and so did I.

I have some money in the bank, that I can use on whatever I want. Money I got on my "konfirmasjon" and some that I've put aside. So, I'm not sure, but I'm not planning on using more then about 8000 -10 000 kr.

I'd honestly advice you to spend as much money as you can on your car, and not go for something cheap. It can turn out to be way more expensive if you have to buy new parts for it all the time.
