Kjekssjokolade Skrevet 8. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 8. mai 2007 That's a too bad, Fruktkake, too bad ... How do you guys feel about canned tuna? Personally I eat a few cans everyday. 8569280 Im not so clad in tuna, like, just eating it from a can, but I like it in salads, tuna salad. Tuna salad on a piece of white bread, really tasty! Lenke til kommentar
Fruktkake Skrevet 8. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 8. mai 2007 (endret) Oh by the way I used to fish a lot, and once I went to Fauske on a holiday and we went on the first tourist fishing boat which was way before summer. I went on boats with my fathers friend and my father, and I used to go down to the mole and fish with my friend, for crabs and whatever we could catch. But I did not eat fish! I remember the first time I touched a fish, a raw fish. I remember my friend looked at me, then looked another way, then looked back realising what I had done. I have yet to disembowel a fish, it looks disgusting imo. And I have a fear of crabs like women have a fear of rats (I wouldn't mind a rat pet). Edit: Oh, well about the tuna. I've fed tuna to my cats in the past years so I wouldn't feel comfortable eating something my cat loves. But I am going to bed. I have a bad day at school tomorrow. Exam preparations, and doing nothing at a failed movie making group (I feel so frustrated being in it) and going to Coop for work. Endret 8. mai 2007 av Fruktkake Lenke til kommentar
Anathema Skrevet 8. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 8. mai 2007 Well, sorry to hear that man, but what can you do... 8569295 I can avoid eating fish. :] I agree with you in one way, Kjekssjokolade. But it is also in the human nature to do so I think - we're all children deep down inside. Like I said, my body can't take the smell of fish, which makes it pretty hard to eat. Not because it smells bad when prepared, but in my unconciousness I can feel that smell creeping up my nose anyways. Trauma from the childhood fishing trips I guess :] Lenke til kommentar
Kjekssjokolade Skrevet 8. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 8. mai 2007 One time I fished for sharks. That must be the weirdest disembowelment of a fish I have ever done, and the way stuff were put together inside it, did not look like ordinary cod or pollock insides Lenke til kommentar

With that said, this conversation and subject matter, has to be one of the least important discussed in this thread in a while In any case, good luck to you Anathema, and may God be with you, if you believe in that sort of nonsense (god, superman, batman, spider-man and other fictional characters I mean), hopefully you'll acquire the taste for fish some time down the road. (Also, I wasn't trying to step on any toes when I said that God is just as unlikely as a fictional character such as batman or similar, It's just the way I see it.) Lenke til kommentar

Stian89 Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Well, canned tuna, and fish in general was up for debate here the other day, however that subject kind of lost its peak. So basically, anything is up for the taking, but with that in mind, I really can't think of anything as interesting as tuna in a can at the moment Lenke til kommentar
Fruktkake Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 12. mai 2007 How about feeding the world? Tonight, and yesterday I had salad instead of steak. It was surprisingly good. It's a 'Mexican salat' that they sell at Rema 1000. You mix the salad with some cheese, nacho and dressing (ifølge Clue heter det dressing på engelsk). It's delicious. It feels you only are eating the nacho, yet you are stuffing salad in you. Lenke til kommentar
Stian89 Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Good for you, some salad won't kill you! Personally, I've been on a healthy streak for the past year or so (since I started working out). I eat healthy everyday, seven days a week, approx. 6-7 meals a day. Once you start cutting the soda, junk food, candy and other crap, you start feeling better about yourself. It's really hard the first few weeks/months, but when you haven't had a mcdonalds meal for so long, the craving for it really disappears. Lenke til kommentar
Fruktkake Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 12. mai 2007 (endret) We don't have McDonalds up here. We only have two-three snack bars, where they sell big and expensive burgers. However I usually have two bags of crisp, and a few diet 1.5L bottles per weekend and at the same time play a lot of World of Warcraft. But today at least I limited it to the sameller bags, Potet Sticks and Snack Chips. And I heard about this guy that went on all sorts of diet, didn't loose a pound. Then he gave up and started eating bacon and such, then he lost a lot of weight. Aparently his body thought it was a lack of food, and thus kept the fat in him since the urban human had to eat plants. The human body is intended for flesh, and plants in emergensy afaik. Heh, look at this. From 395 NOK to 20 NOK, it is sad to see how they try to sell something at a full price then drop it completely. Do it slowly, dammit. Now I want to buy 20 useless coolers for just having them or something. Endret 12. mai 2007 av Fruktkake Lenke til kommentar
Stian89 Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 12. mai 2007 (endret) Absolutely agree, you should eat meat! Vegetables does however contain a lot of important stuff the body needs, and should be looked upon as a part of an everyday diet. My goal, what with working out and all, is however to gain weight. I felt I was too skinny, weighing in on 60kg. Today, I'm 83kg, but still working my way up. edit Maybe they just made a typo, and what they really meant was 200,00? Endret 12. mai 2007 av Stian89 Lenke til kommentar
cyclo Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Del Skrevet 12. mai 2007 Actually thats not true. Most types of meat is actually bad for you. It screws up your intestines and your digestive system. And I heard about this guy that went on all sorts of diet, didn't loose a pound. Then he gave up and started eating bacon and such, then he lost a lot of weight. Aparently his body thought it was a lack of food, and thus kept the fat in him That sound like an urban legend if you ask me. It basically just doesn't make sense. Basically how much weight you gain/loose is the sum of how much you eat minus how much energy you use. So this would only work if the guy sat on his ass all day when he was on his diets, and worked out like crazy when he ate all sorts of junk. Lenke til kommentar
