No it wouldn't. Just becuase your norweigen doesen't meanas you should not pronounce correctly.

 

What I was trying to say: It sounds stupid no matter who says it.. It's almost as if I where to say "hvordan går det med dem", instead of "deg".. sort of..

 

Edit: and he'd have to change they way he pronounce som other words as well.. I'll have to give an example in Norwegian to get my point through: "De kan da gå ut i dag, unge mann. Det er jo så pent ver"..

 

Shoot me if I'm wrong. I might have misunderstood the pronunciation of the word.

Well, I sleep in the nude, so yeah; I was naked. Then I took a shower (still naked, it's a lot easier to shower that way!), and put some clothes on.

Your = possessive (like "It's your book").

You're is a contraction of you are.

Sure. The finny thing is, I used to suck at grammar and spelling in school. Then I started watching a lot of movies and tv shows, and I became better over time. Now sbtitles are the most annoying thing ever, I can't stand them

 

EDIT: And the person who came up with "TV makes you stupid" didn't watch enough of it

For et par år siden = A couple of years ago / Some years ago. Drop the for in English, it's a Norwegian thing

Gotten is more of a spoken word, along with gonna, wanna and such. They're perfectly fine when you're speaking with someone face to face, but they're "silly" when you write them in a text (unless you're writing a book and there's a dialog, if you get my point).

To (norsk: til) = I'm going to the bathroom.

Too (norsk: også) = I have to go too!

Two (norsk: to) = Well, then we're two...

 

It's not too hard once you get the hang of it. I used to struggle with those two words too, my tip is to read the sentence in your head, too is just a tiny bit longer than to

An Oscar event on "NRK" at 2 a.m on Sunday, the actual even taking place at 3 a.m. Now that's something for a film nerd like myself to look forward to. I'm working late on Monday as well which is lucky because the ceremony is over at around 6 a.m in the morning. Don't think I'll watch the whole show though.

 

Hope "Avatar" takes home a few prices, it sure deserves it. However we have a few others such as "Inglorious basterds" and "The hurt locker". Both Tarantino and Bigelow sure is going to give Cameron some competition.

 

2009 was a good year for films but 2010 looks to be a good one as well. Inception, Tron legacy, Clash of the titans, Deathly hallows part 1, next Narnia installation, Shutter island, How to train your dragon etc.

 

A lot of films this year to look forward to. I can already feel my wallet moaning. Doesn't make it any better that I'm completing a home cinema room now with an 84" screen, full HD (1080p) and a complete surround sound system for a value at around 40-50 000 kr. Man I'm a bit crazy

Ah, I only have an Optoma HD200x projector, 1 LG 32" screen, 1 Samsung 40" screen, a X360, a PS3, a Wii, a PS2 and a blu-ray player.

 

Hm, the worst part is that I feel I'm constantly broke but I see now that I have too many things, too many... Is there a good word for "Duppeditt" in English?
