Ban the Hijab you say?

So at one side we should have total free of speech (meaning no limitation at all, I am refering to the Muhammed drawings as an example), but on the other we should ban what people believe is an appropriate way to dress them self up.

 

I myself wouldn't "allow" my wife to use hijab, if she was a muslim of course, well at least I would ask her not to use one, but then again I probably wouldn't married a conservative muslim. (no I am not married).

 

"du kan ikke få det i pose og sekk", seems like a good term here.

I do believe in choice, if Norway is to be a "free" country, then choices should be mandotory.

What I find annoying is that the majority is judged based on the actions of the minority. If a group of radical Muslims do something we judge the whole race of people based on those actions. That's to me something we shouldn't be doing at all. Understanding other culture as well as respecting mutually between ourselves is the key to living together.

 

When we know how sacred the prophets are for the Muslims, we know how some of them react, so why do we do these kind of things? Are we trying to stir up problems? As I see it we have a bee hive. You know what happens if you shake the hive, so would you do it, or not?

 

The way I see it is that we have to respect each other both ways. They have to respect our culture and how it works (as they are doing most of them) and we should respect their religion and how that works. Lets face it, they are here to stay so lets make the best of it. I know some that are Muslims, I used to work with some and are working with some at times. They are no different than I am, they laugh, the joke, they debate. They are just like me, they just have another culture than I have. So what's the problem, why can't people manage to live together? Perhaps there is too little respect for other cultures both ways, and of course all is to be judged for the actions of a few.

I see freedom of religion as freedom of stupidity(To be clear: I do support it ).. I just can't get my head around how they "know" their god and religion is the correct one, and everybody else in the history of mankind is wrong.. And without even presenting any evidence..

 

I don't think banning the hijab is the right way to go about it. I see no reason why the police should wear it, though. The police are the last ones that should be hiding.

 

We shouldn't hinder their freedom more then they should ours. They can have hijabs and we'll print as much Mohamed as we like. If it turns out they are correct we will suffer for it in the afterlife and they should be able to take it easy in this one. If they are wrong they've pretty much fucked it up for all of us..

The snowstorm has just died down.

Soon spring is here, and with spring - berry's.

And with berry's - Asians from thailand and polish people.

They are so poor they have to steel our berry's to survive the comming winter.

Poor them.

 

But spring is fun. I donät like the heat, though.

when you mention berries and stealing I can't help but smile. I remember some time ago(a year or two) someone "broke" in at night, picked every last berry and totally ripped this farmer! funniest thing ever

 

On another note: "I make more money picking berries here then I do as a civil engineer in Poland" -Some polish guy I saw on a TV-documentary.

That might as well be, but my perception of the word "grammar" is one's ability to correctly communicate in a texted language, whether it is punctuation or spelling.

That may so be your perception however the definition of grammar is simply a set of rules and principles for speaking and writing a language. While spelling is simply "an arrangement of letters that form a word or part of a word."
