Moraelyn Skrevet 5. august 2009 Del Skrevet 5. august 2009 I loath that guy. Why is it that, when american comedy is concerned, the morons end up on stage? Seriously, I want to know. Daniel Whitney (Larry The Cable Guy), Eddie Murphy, Scott Thompson (Carrot Top), Jeff Foxworthy, Michael Cathers (Geechy Guy), Paul Reubens (Pee-wee Herman), Roseanne Barr, etc. Lenke til kommentar

kris98 Skrevet 5. august 2009 Del Skrevet 5. august 2009 I'm able to speak both, but I find American-english a little more relaxed and laidback than British. I feel it has more room for "uhhh"'s and "hmm"'s Lenke til kommentar

2ball_ Skrevet 5. august 2009 Del Skrevet 5. august 2009 (endret) Got to agree with Mr.Graves here, i speak both, but i am more relaxed with the american language. I can speek both, but personally I think the "eeh" and "uuuhm"'s are a negative thing. we have a lot of that i Norwegian. If we can't remember a word we just keep on going with the "eemm" untill we have it. sound horible. many of us start almost every sentance with an "emm". thats not right Endret 5. august 2009 av 2ball(s) Lenke til kommentar

aleksander95 Skrevet 5. august 2009 Del Skrevet 5. august 2009 I prefer speaking american-english because I feel that in british-english you can't say 'umm' 'ehh' etc. Lenke til kommentar
kris98 Skrevet 5. august 2009 Del Skrevet 5. august 2009 Well about the "uhh"'s and "hmm"'s; I think it's better to fill the conversation with something at least, instead of that embarrassing silence. But still - too much of anything isn't good Lenke til kommentar
Molotovcocktail Skrevet 5. august 2009 Del Skrevet 5. august 2009 So do you guys speak 'english-english' or 'american english'? I speak american-english! New Zealand-English, actually. Last year I hung out with an exchange student from NZ, and eventually my English became more and more influenced by his accent. Lenke til kommentar

Bonna86 Skrevet 5. august 2009 Del Skrevet 5. august 2009 (endret) Can wait 'till August, seeing that I'll start my studies in English (bachelor) at University of Agder. Studied English before at HiO, so I know what to look forward to I think, but this is like a dream come true (always wanted to study English, due to the fact that I want to become an English teacher). I speak with a British accent, and I was taken for being English when I was studying in York last year (by strangers that is). Endret 5. august 2009 av yvonne2 Lenke til kommentar
Midnight_walker Skrevet 5. august 2009 Del Skrevet 5. august 2009 I read in the newspaper today that men use a year of their life to look at women. An average of 43 minutes daily :!: Mostly in malls and trainstations ... I guess that's true Lenke til kommentar

Love the town, becoming more and more familiar with the place, so I think it will be great. Lenke til kommentar
