Aalton Skrevet 19. september 2006 Del Skrevet 19. september 2006 Heisann, Jeg drev og leste litt rundt og snublet over noen artige ting for oss som bare forguder A-team. Seems the reason we haven’t heard much about the long-planned “A-Team” movie is because the producer has tossed the writer off the project. Bruce Feirstein (“GoldenEye”) was hired to pen the script, but according to producer and series creator Stephen J.Cannell, they just weren’t happy with what the scribe came up with. "We were working on a script for a few years but I didn't like it so it's been thrown out," Cannell tells Empire Online. "We've gone through a lot of scripts that we haven't been happy with for one reason or another. We had one script writer who had never even watched the show! The studio was adamant about employing him but he just took the title and began to write anything he wanted, completely departing from the original show. The studio didn't like it and neither did I." Although the identity of the new writer and details of the plot are unendorsed, Cannell, who is also working on a “Knight Rider” film, has made no secret of the fact the 80s cult show will be modernized for the new millennium. "I want to create it as taking place today. So the Gulf War could be a great angle. In the original, the A-Team were on the run after robbing a bank under orders just as the war ended. In this, maybe the four would raid Saddam Hussein’s bank or whatever." As for casting, it’s still a long ways off – and everyone from Jack Black to Brendan Fraser to Ving Rhames has been linked to the project at one point, so it’s a pretty spacious sport – but Cannell says they’re considering Bruce Willis for the role of Hannibal in the film. “I think Bruce Willis would make a good Hannibal!” says Cannell, about a role originally favoured for Mel Gibson, interestingly enough. (Read into that what you will). In addition, he says you can definitely expect the original ‘A-Team’ – the surviving members, that is – to make appearances in the film. “I would like the original cast to play a part - to have their input into the movie and to star in cameo roles”. Stooges, Spidey: The Early YearsBut will he wear green diapers? The 2006 Licensing Show in New York featured pitches for some interesting (disturbing?) new spins on the Three Stooges and Stan Lee's Marvel Comics superheroes: Get ready for babies Larry, Curly and Moe and a teeny, tiny Spidey. Following successful kid-friendly spinoffs such as Muppet Babies and Disney Cuties, Marvel and Stooge rights owners have created ankle-biter versions of their characters, hoping to lock up future fans in the crib. The look for Baby Larry, Curly and Moe? Well, imagine cartoons of 40-year-old men in diapers, clutching a bottle and a teddy bear. As for the Marvel tykes, we wanna hate 'em, but we have to admit that Baby Spidey, who's more pink than red, and Baby Hulk, with his shock of green hair and baby overalls, are actually kinda cute. If that's what you're looking for in a superhero. … Back to grown-up heroes: The A-Team creator Stephen J. Cannell confirms that a big-screen adaptation of the hit '80s Mr. T TV drama is still in the works, with a new screenwriter on the job. "I want to create it as taking place today," Cannell says of the movie's story line. "So the gulf war could be a great angle. In the original, the A-Team were on the run after robbing a bank under orders just as the war ended. In this, maybe the four would raid Saddam Hussein's bank." Cannell also reveals his pick to play the role of stogie-chomping A-Team leader Hannibal: Bruce Willis.
