Er det mulig å bytte bios brikken te hk tru? å Hva koster det Til et P5B Dlx?

det er nok ikke så lett å få tak i en bios brikke. hvorfor lurer du på det?

 

det vanligste folk gjør dersom biosen er kaputt er å sende hk i retur

P5B dlx har ikke noen biosbrikke som du kan ta av. Men den har jo backup på biosen og det skal vel være nesten umulig å kræsje biosoppgraderingen på det kortet.

 

Men det kortet har også en annen kjekk funksjon. Du kan legge biosen på en minnepinne og flashe den direkte når du starter maskinen.

4.1.5 ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 utility

The ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3 is an auto recovery tool that allows you to restore the BIOS file when it fails or gets corrupted during the updating process. You can update a corrupted BIOS file using the motherboard support CD, the floppy disk, or the USB flash disk that contains the updated BIOS file.

Prepare the motherboard support CD, the floppy disk or the USB flash disk containing the updated motherboard BIOS before using this utility.

 

Recovering the BIOS from the support CD

To recover the BIOS from the support CD:

1. Turn on the system.

2. Insert the motherboard support CD to the optical drive.

3. The utility displays the following message and automatically checks the CD for the BIOS file.

Bad BIOS checksum. Starting BIOS recovery...

Checking for floppy...

Bad BIOS checksum. Starting BIOS recovery...

Checking for floppy...

When found, the utility reads the BIOS file and starts flashing the corrupted BIOS file.

4. Restart the system after the utility completes the updating process.

• Only the USB flash disk with FAT 32/16 format and single partition can support ASUS CrashFree BIOS 3. The device size should be smaller than 8GB.

4. Restart the system after the utility completes the updating process.

Etter siste oppdateringa av bios vart jo alt svart kommer ikke inn i bios med en svart skjerm. Så jeg vet ikke hva jeg skal gjøre enast å flytt på noen jumpere på hk da sikkert. Hvist ikke cpuen er død da?
