no_viking_no Skrevet 17. juni 2006 Del Skrevet 17. juni 2006 (endret) hva er EGSM 900 / GSM 1800/1900 (Tri-Band)? 6326413[/snapback] EGSM = Extended GSM A small radio frequency band used in Europe to provide added network capacity for GSM 900 networks. EGSM spectrum is 880-890 MHz paired with 925-935 MHz, which is just below the original GSM 900 band. Phones described as having "EGSM" or "EGSM 900" support both the orginal GSM 900 band and the extended band. Older phones with "GSM 900" may not support EGSM. Most newer phones with "GSM 900" do support EGSM, it is just not listed that way since it is assumed that newer phones support it. GSM 1800 Also known as DCS 1800 or PCN, GSM 1800 is a digital network working on a frequency of 1800 MHz. It is used in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Australia. GSM 1900 Also known as PCS 1900, GSM 1900 is a digital network working on a frequency of 1900 MHz. It is used in the US and Canada and is scheduled for parts of Latin America and Africa. Tri-Band European tri-band phones support the 900, 1800, and 1900 frequency bands. They provide complete coverage in Europe, Africa, and Asia, and work on at least one network in most countries in the Americas. Americas tri-band phones support the 800/850, 1800, and 1900 frequency bands. They provide complete coverage in the Americas, and will work on at least one network in most countries in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Endret 17. juni 2006 av no_viking_no Lenke til kommentar
