This new notebook can use all Athlon 64, FX or X2 dual core CPUs working in 32 or 64 mode, whatever you prefer. This big gaming notebook will feature a 17-inch display supporting 1920 x 1200 with buit in camera two optical drives and two hard drives in Raid mode. The modest display version supports 1440 x 900 resolution. The company was sticking to Pentium mobile designs but it recognised that users actually want to see Athlon 64 in high end gaming machines. You will be able to plug in up to 2GB memory, and it's interesting to notice that the board is using the Via K8T890 north bridge and the VT8237A south bridge. It's been a long time since we saw Via in high end notebooks. The machine will use Geforce series 7 graphic card and you can now chose Geforce Go 6800, Geforce Go 6800 Ultra or upcoming Geforce Go 7800 GTX. Surprisingly there are not any ATI cards for this design. The cheapest machine costs $2,159.00 and the earliest date you will get your system is December 28th. At least you know what's coming and you can check it and play with its specs LINK Disse pc bestilles enkelt og greit fra England Endret 16. november 2005 av Åsmund@ATi Lenke til kommentar
