Opprette bruker i ProFTPD!

Jeg lastet ned ProFTPD ved hjelp av

 

apt-get install ProFTPD

 

Så lastet jeg ned Webmin ved hjelp av "apt-get" fordi jeg har hørt at det skal være noe enklere da.

 

Men jeg får jo jaggu ikke oppretta en bruker!

 

Jeg prøvde å søke litt rundt etter en guide, men jeg så at filen "proftpd.conf" ble nevnt flere ganger, men spørsmålet mitt blir:

 

Hvordan kan jeg opprette en bruker med passord osv.?

 

Så hvis noen kunne satt opp et eksempel for meg hadde det hvert supert!

 

 

Filen proftpd.conf ser slik ut hvis det sier dere noe:

har du prøvd å legge til brukere med useradd?

er du sikker på at ftp serveren kjører som den skal og svarer på oppkoblinger?

Brukere i ProFTP er de samme brukerene som generelt på boksen. Dermed bruker du "useradd". Du kan vel også definere virtuelle brukere kun for ProFTP, men det kan jeg lite om.
