Sjølv om du har X.Org skal du då bruke XFree 4.3-drivaren fordi Slackware 10.0 brukar X.Org 6.7. Gjer slik: su - wget http://www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/fglrx_4_3_0-8.14.13-1.i386.rpm rpm2tgz fglrx_4_3_0-8.14.13-1.i386.rpm installpkg fglrx_4_3_0-8.14.13-1.i386.tgz cd /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod sh make.sh cd .. sh make_install.sh Då er drivare installert om du ikkje fekk nokon errors. Så er det berre å konfigurere X.Org med kommandoen "fglrxconfig". Merk at du har XFree-drivaren, så fila vert nok heitande /etc/X11/XF86Config-4, gi den namnet /etc/X11/xorg.conf Skal forresten ikkje vere noko problem å starte X utan ATi sin drivar. Bruk "radeon"-drivaren, ein fri drivar som fungerar bra, men gir ikkje 3D for ditt kort. For å konfigurere X.Org brukar du "xorgconfig" (altså om du ikkje skal bruke ATi-drivaren)., bare endra driveren til den nyeste. Og den starter fint opp og gir ingen error. men når han kjører den testen på fps så er det samme erroren som den oppføre.
