tv-out og oppløsning

Har endelig fått til tv-out i ubuntu med mitt geforce fx5200 nvidia kort. Ser bildet klart på TV nå, men når jeg setter xorg.conf til å vise både lcd (via DVI) og TV, så blir oppløsningen på LCD og 1024x769 mens den egentlig skulle vært 1280x1024...setter jeg xorg.conf til å kun vise LCD, får jeg den oppløsninga jeg skal ha.

 

Noen som ser noe galt?

Jeg er usikker på hvordan du vil ha det. Men grunnen til at oppløsningen blir 1024x768 er at driveren velger den høyeste MetaModes som begge skjermene takler. TV-utgangen takler maksimalt 1024x768.

 

Slik har jeg det:

 

Option "MetaModes" "1280x1024,1024x768 @1280x1024; 1024x768, 1024x768; 800x600, 800x600; 640x480, 640x480;"

 

Dette gjør at Oppløsningen på skrivebordet og LCD-en blir 1280x1024 mens TV-en blir 1024x768. Bildet på TV-en scroller da etter musen. Når jeg skal se film, trykker jeg "ctrl", "alt" og "+". Da forandrer oppløsningen seg til 1024x768 på begge skjermer og selv om skrivebordet er større så skjønner de fleste medieavspillere dette og gir riktig størrelse ved fullscreen.

Dette så ikke helt ut til å virke. Oppløsningen ble ikke 1280x1024; Alt ble "gigantisk" på begge skjermer, så bildet på både LCD og TV fulgte musa.
