Det her oppsummerer pretty much min situasjon som shammy akkurat nå =(

 

 

 

This was a triumph

I'm making a note here, HUGE SUCCESS!!!

It's hard to overstate my satisfaction.

Blizzard class dev team,

we nerf what we must

because we can.

For the good of all of us,

except the Shaman, who suck.

 

But there's no sense crying

over every small nerf,

we'll just keep on nerfing 'till

you're down in the dirt.

Class balancing is tough,

but we've got some neat buffs

for the classes that are

still alive.

 

I'm not going to nerf you.

I'm being SO sincere right now.

Even though you drove a bus

that hit me.

And then you did dot shock.

And QQ'd about every single nerf.

As I nerfed I laughed because

I was so pissed off at you.

Now this new patch data

has some humorous lines,

in every arena

you'll die first every time.

So your fate is now sealed,

you'll always be a free kill

for the classes that are

still alive.

 

Wait, please don't leave me!

I think you'd prefer

to stay in game.

Maybe we can find a way

to buff you.

Like maybe some CC...

Anyway these buffs are great,

I think we'll give them to Locks.

Look at me still talking

when there's nerfing to do.

When I play your class

it makes me GLAD I'm not you!

I know you've got it rough,

I'll just cook up more buffs

for the classes that are

They're in an ice block and they're still alive!

Allikevel kommer jeg nok til å levle shamanen min først til 80, men jeg tviler på at den kommer til å bli main i wotlk...

Shamans er jo veldig ettertraktet. Vi har alltid minst 3 i hvert raid, som oftest fler. Og alle 3 talent speccs er brukbart til raiding, ikke alle classer som kan si det akuratt. Skjønner ikke helt hva folk klager over.

Well, I know that things are looking grim

With our chance of raid invites quite slim.

PvP lost before it's begun,

Because you can't do that while stunned!

 

I was a lonely teenage warcraft nerd

With a class, once great, now quite a turd

So I thought I'd say some final words

I started singin,

Bye-bye, had a very last try

Played with premades on the beta,

The results made me sigh.

And them good old boys were rerollin' their hy-brids

But thats not how it's going to be.

Many druids makes a winning team

Debuffs, 1ups, better DPS, and heals

Doing much more that could come from you and me

They merged our robes with healing gowns

Cloth got homogenised

With spirit, which we still despise

Nine specs, same cloth drops, that's a fail!

And still all that spellpower plate and mail...

I drank a lot of Brewfest Ale

Hva skjer btw med at introvideoen til TBC spilles etter å ha innstallert patchen?

Shamans er greie i 25 mans ja, men er sågodt som umulig å få grp til 5/10 man... I tillegg så kan man ikke si at det er spessielt bra i pvp heller

Kan jo være alt blir forandra nå/i wotlk men etter å ha spilt shaman såpass lenge mister du liksom troa på at ting skal forandre seg

Spilt shammy siden release, følt nerfbats stalke meg siden start.

 

Vanilla WoW: 2h-Enhancement og hadde det sabla morsomt i både PvE og PvP, fant ikke guild som ville ha meg før mot slutten.

Enter TBC: 2h-Enhancement fikk nerfbatten på sett og vis, jeg måtte tilpasse meg til et elemental liv, fant ingen guilds som ville ha meg før 10 måneder før i dag.

Enter 3.0.2: Etter testing på betaserveren så har jeg ikke sett noen merkbare nerfs annet enn tapet av coefficienten til L.Bolt og 9% hit rating tap (50% billigere shocks + 400 spelldmg og + 8% spellcrit, yay). I dag så er det ilddåp for Shaman 3.0 for meg i raids, brukte å være blant top 5 før, frykter at andre har scalet bedre enn jeg gjorde med patchen, only time may tell. Samt at alle andre classes kan bringe buffene jeg også kan, med unntak av 5% spellhaste totem (resto sham kan derimot gjøre det, og de trengs vel mer enn meg).

Sånn er det jo med alle klasser, i alle mmo-spill.. Hva som er "bra" forandrer seg gjerne fra patch til patch.

 

Ta f.eks dps warrior. I molten core og starten på BWL, var det arms som var tingen. Så tok 2h fury over en periode, før dualweild fury var tingen i naxxramas. I TBC har det også gått i perioder mellom dualweild fury og arms med slam.

 

før TBC var det sm/ruin som var warlock raid spec for det meste, i tbc ble det full destruction med demonic sacrifise, og nå i wotlk ser det ut som at affliction eller demonology blir det store igjen.

 

Samme med roguer... combat daggers-->combat sword

 

mage: frost-->fire, og nå ser arcane ut til å slå ann i wotlk.
