Radeon X800 GT underveis?

I mentioned that X800 GT is a "dead die" SKU and from the information I now have it appears that ATI will be lobbing just about every chip into this one board config - anything they have from R430, R423 and R480 will end up going on to these boards, so some may yield better OC results than others.

 

The core configuration basically is similar to an X700 PRO (a little slower), but with a 256-bit bus bandwidth should be much higher. The vendor I spoke to said to steer clear of the 128MB boards.
