Production

 

- Shooting is set to start on series five on the 26th of July, the series has been in pre-production since April

 

Story

 

- Information suggests that the premiere episode will begin somewhere oversees like the first and second series did.

- The series may/will start with a high-value terrorist bombing, information suggests this could be a combination of a high-value building and a high-ranking government official. It's possible a former character will be brought back in a cameo and be killed in the attack. Logic would also suggest that this is one of the things which happens 'oversees' but that is just speculation on my part.

- "We'll pick Jack up in a very different place, roughly a year later. Of course, the show is the show, so it won't be long before he's back in the saddle. But we'll explore a little bit of what he's been doing with his life and the situation he's gotten himself into. That will certainly have an impact on his behavior when he gets involved in the streets" - Writer/Producer Robert Cochran

 

Cast

 

- Kiefer will be in the fifth series.

- A major female role has been cast for series five, but the actress is at the moment unnamed.

- President Logan will still be the President at the start of series five, it would appear that Keller did not recover from his injuries.

- Tony and Michelle have as things start out left CTU to live happily ever after but reports have confirmed that Tony will be back.

- Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe) will be a regular next series.

- Roger Cross (Curtis Manning) is contracted to the show for series four and five, so unless they don't want him, he'll be on the show next year.

 

Crew

 

- Several new writers have been brought into pen scripts and contribute ideas these include Manny Coto, David Fury and Novelists Richard Marcinko and Vince Flynn.

Tony og Michelle forsvinner, men Tony kommer tilbake igjen. Synd Michelle forsvinner synes jeg.
