Må man virkelig laste ned og reinstallere FC hver gang det kommer en ny versjon? Er ikke dette utrolig tungvindt?

Går så vidt jeg vet fint å bruke YUM eller apt-get til å oppgradere med.

Ja det går.. Men det er ikke annbefalt - ofte store endringer.
