Forsryd: We've put in certain things to make it realistic, but not so many that it removes the fun factor from the game. For example, if you get heavier guns then you'll move slower, or vice versa if you're carrying a light weapon you'll be able to move around a lot quicker.


We've decided to go for realism with gun or weapon damage, so if you take one shot straight to the head, for example, you're dead. But we've actually got a complete mesh for the character models - we're not using hit-boxes surrounding the mesh like other games do, where even if you might miss the head you'll still hit the hit-box. Here you actually have to hit the character mesh, so if you're accurate enough you'll actually be able to shoot between the fingers of a model.


This has also allowed us to do damage in degrees, so, for example, you could just graze someone's face if you shot at the head area from the side. The angle on the hit zone works this way with the entire "body" of a character model.


 

Dette er bare et av spørsmålene i intervjuet, og det høres simpelthen ganske tøft ut...

 

Spillet heter New World Order og er utviklet av et svensk utviklerteam som kaller seg Termite Games.
