Tre iso's, en for de med ATI kort, en for de med nVidia kort og en generell for andre kom ut i dag.

PCLinuxOS Preview .81 General Release ISO is now posted on ibiblio.org with

bittorrent links to follow. Some highlights in this release include an update

to kernel 2.6.10-oci7, security updates, application updates, bug fixes,

livecd script updates, livecd-install updates and better hardware detection.

 

 

Short List of changes:

 

SATA support (Needs testing)

improved international keyboard support

MD5 sum option

dos-swap file option

no prompt boot option

improved video detection

scsi cdrom support

Fixed laptop with touchpad not completing hardware detection.

All applications updated to current stable releases.

Security updates applied to livecd

Shorewall enabled by default and configured for most desktop services.

New background, kde bootsplash and other graphical enhancements.

 

I'll try to work up a Nvidia iso and maybe an ATI fglrx driver ISO version

this weekend if time allows. Please let us know if we need to add any 3rd

party drivers to the new 2.6.10 kernel.
