Balderac Skrevet 15. juni 2002 Del Skrevet 15. juni 2002 Sitat fra: http://www.3dnow.org.uk/k7mguide/bios.shtml Making a BIOS boot disk: The next step is to make a blank boot disk. You must have only the system files required to boot on the disk, no autoexec or config files. To do this: Insert a blank floppy into drive A: (floppy drive) Open a DOS box in Windows. (Start > Programs > MS-DOS Prompt) Type "format a: /s" (without the quotes) When it finishes, enter a label. You now have a boot disk. Once you've created the boot disk, you need to copy the BIOS file and flash program to the floppy. You will need a Zip utility such as Winzip to extract the BIOS bin file from the zip archive you downloaded. Once you have copied those to the floppy disk, the only files on the disk should be the following: Command.com Drvspace.bin Flash_K7.exe Km1007.bin Io.sys Msdos.sys Drvspace.bin, Io.sys and Msdos.sys are hidden files, so depending on your Windows settings, you may not be able to see those files. To check they are there (under Windows 98): Double click on "My Computer" Choose "View > Folder Options" A Folder Options box will pop up: Click on the "View" tab Under "Hidden files" select "Show all files" Click "OK" You should now be able to view all the above files.
