AzureCloud Skrevet 20. januar 2005 Del Skrevet 20. januar 2005 Fra http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec....tinum&class=mb: "Due to the High Performance Memory design, motherboards or system configurations may or may not operate smoothly at the JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council) standard settings (BIOS Default on the motherboard) such as DDR voltage, memory speeds and memory timing. Please confirm and adjust your memory setting in the BIOS accordingly for better system stability. Example: Kingston HyperX DDR500 PC4000 operates at 2.65V, 3-4-4-8, CL=3. For more information about specification of high performance memory modules, please check with your Memory Manufactures for more details." Hva betyr egentlig dette? Skal ikke et system normalt være 100% stabilt ved default instillinger (ingen overklokking etc.)? Lenke til kommentar

AzureCloud Skrevet 24. januar 2005 Forfatter Del Skrevet 24. januar 2005 Mer om dette her: http://www.tbreak.com/reviews/article.php?...39&pagenumber=2 "One of the problems we faced with the nForce3 chipset was selecting DDR400 speed from the BIOS with four memory modules- it just didn’t work. Unfortunately, that still remains an issue and we’re pretty sure that this is a chipset and not a motherboard related issue as we have also received the Gigabyte nForce4 board that exhibits the same problem. Selecting the memory at DDR333 and then overclocking it way past DDR400 speeds doesn’t seem to cause an issue." Dette ser vel ikke helt bra ut? Lenke til kommentar
