ErisDS Skrevet 6. januar 2005 Del Skrevet 6. januar 2005 (endret) Hi, I am ErisDS. I'm afraid I'm English and speak no Norwegian. Maybe someone who speaks English could translate this, but if not im sure most of you can grasp I am trying to say. It has been brought to my attention that a member of this forum known as Thomas has made a project log on this forum claiming my work as his own. Half an hour ago I could see this thread and I read it, to the best of my abilities. It seems clear to me that Thomas was claiming that he modified the "RaidMax" Tower (Which is actually an iCute if any of you look at the pictures) for his girlfriend. By British law any Photograph taken belongs to the Photographer. Placing my photo's here was an infringement of Copyright law by Thomas. Also claiming that my work and ideas were his own is an infringement of the Intellectual Property laws. Did I not just have to fill out a questionaire stating that copyright laws are taken seriously by this forum? If so how come the thread with my photographs was allowed to remain, until today when I registered, even though it had been clearly shown that the work was not Thomas'? Let it be known that, if i had the personal details of Thomas I would be taking serious action against him. I will not stand by and have my property stolen and reproduced across the internet. As it stands the post has now been deleted. I hope that the admins have taken necessary actions against Thomas. Thank-you for taking the time to read this. ErisDS Skrevet 6. januar 2005 Forfatter Del Skrevet 6. januar 2005 The thread is now deleted, or moved so that only admins may view it as i understand it. My project log can be found here: http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=68476 Lenke til kommentar

Blib Skrevet 6. januar 2005 Del Skrevet 6. januar 2005 1: He never said it was his own. He did however say that a friend of his from England made it and that he had recieved these pictures from him. 2: The thread has not been deleted no, but moved to a safe place 3: This is the category for motherboards. I will move this topic for you, and let the admins continue to answer. But once again - he never claimed it for himself as you say. The guy is a dyslectic and I can see how things may have been misunderstood, even tho he clearly said it wasn't his Lenke til kommentar

Blib Skrevet 6. januar 2005 Del Skrevet 6. januar 2005 fredrikrb - Okay, after viewing it again I was a bit mistaken there. However, as it's hard to understand and translate, I would say that it appears he says that he and his mate from england made it together.

Blib Skrevet 6. januar 2005 Del Skrevet 6. januar 2005 And let me say - not as a representative from the forum but just another guy - that even if this guy broke copyright laws, that is a matter between you and him and not something for this forum or it's leaders. That's what I seem to remember from laws and such. Is this not correct? It is not their job to punish him... Lenke til kommentar
Fredrik Skrevet 6. januar 2005 Del Skrevet 6. januar 2005 (endret) Ja, men hele likner <-- One of his responses when people posted the link to your project. It can be translated into something like this: "Yes, but lookalike" or something. He never explained that it was someone else who did the mod. Regner med resten av dere forstår. Og, om ikke dette leder til noen reaksjon mister jeg totalt troen på dette forumet. Dette er brudd på faktiske lover, og ikke retningslinjer som dere kaster warns rundt om brytes. Blib, yes it is a matter between ErisDS and Thomas :-), but the thread has been moved and so has the evidence. Notice that ErisDS has no personal information on Thomas, which means he can't get in contact with him. Even if so, it is not sure Thomas would be able to answer it. (No offense.) ErisDS Skrevet 6. januar 2005 Forfatter Del Skrevet 6. januar 2005 This is the internet, and the only way i can communicate to this person is through the forum. If I could have an email address i would communicate to him that way. However privacy means that the admins should not and probably would not give me his email address. Also considering the unlikelyness of me getting a reply to an email saying "tell me who you are so i can take legal action against you" i decided that i would make a post here in order to make my point heard. My comment regarding the admins of the forum was in mind of what i understand (using a dictionary and knowledge of german) as being their anti-copyright policy. Lenke til kommentar
