Graphics dont work on Asrock k7s41gx

I just bought a new motherboard and well i got it running but now neither the OLD

geforce 4 mx se or the NEW Ati radeon 9550 256 mb work!

 

Im sure it gotta be sumthing that i have forgot becouse otherwise the old one should work atleast... *got agp8x support*

what kind of MB did you buy?

MB=Asrock k7s41gx

Processor= AMD athlon +xp 2400

memory=266 speed on one 256 mb and one 500mb

This may sound stupid, but have you inserted the monitor cable into the agp graphics card?

 

Another solution could be to disable the onboard card from bios

I think a solution could be to remove your agp graphic card,

use onboard graphics so you can enter bios by pressing del or another button ("Press x to enter setup").

 

In your bios there is an option where you can disable onboard graphic, but I'm not sure if you can do this when you don't hva your agp card inserted.

 

If this works, wich I don't think it will, but if it does, try inserting your agp graphics card again after saving your bios changes and you have shut off your computer.

 

It's worth a try at least
