jojojo Skrevet 3. november 2004 Del Skrevet 3. november 2004 Hej, as troubleshooter through many years I am wondering why nobody suggested two simple things(I am sorry if they were there and I missed them): 1. How did his TIF file look on his monitor? 2. Why not ask him to bring or mail the badly printed sample to examine it. On top of this I agree with a lot of the stuff also mentioned, especially the part warning about giving away digital files without a description/warning how to use these to get an adequate quality. I suggest you create a list of dos and don'ts printed on a cheap sheet, this you can offer/force to have when he gets digital files. And as one suggested, never give digital files without at least one print proving that the photo is OK! Working in the graphics business with rips and colormanagement I know how wrong it can go without any other shortcomings than human beings! Rgds Lenke til kommentar

Guys, I made a long list of DOs and DON'Ts for my customers, covering most popular printer models (Canon, Epson, HP) and photo paper, then read it and laughed: basically, each paragraph there ends with: "eller send fil til digital fremkalling" I just hope they will not complain about wrong picture cropping.
