odder Skrevet 10. september 2004 Del Skrevet 10. september 2004 Hi everyone, I just bought a second-hand Canon G3. I am very pleased with it so far, but I noticed one thing that I am a bit concerned about: When I hold the camera aprox. 15 cm from my eyes and look into the little "seacher-hole" in top of the camera I can see a very thin black horisontal line - is that line supposed to be there, or is something broken inside the camera? It should be noted, that if I put my eye right up to the hole (as you are supposed to do in order to use it), the line is no longer visible at all. I hope I haven't bought a broken camera Lenke til kommentar
Black Star Skrevet 12. september 2004 Del Skrevet 12. september 2004 I don't think your camera is broken. What you see of dust or lines in the search hole, will not be visible on the picture, as you don't see thrugh the optics when using this search hole. Lenke til kommentar
LeGranDuc Skrevet 12. september 2004 Del Skrevet 12. september 2004 Have no fear.... Its supposed to be there. I dont know your camera, but i can see the same line in the camera at work. Nikon Coolpix 2100 I imagine it is the edge of a mirror or something. So you camera is not broken. Lenke til kommentar

anderfo Skrevet 13. september 2004 Del Skrevet 13. september 2004 it could be a thread to the focus point in the viewer. if the square around the focus point is getting bigger when you focus, to show you that the focus is right, the thread may be there for supporting some power.. (that could be why, but i dont know it) Lenke til kommentar
