Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe og S-ATA HDD - Problemer!

Mitt Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe hovedkort finner ikke min Maxtor 120 GB S-ATA HDD...

 

Jeg finner ikke utav hverken RAID eller generelle BIOS instillinger...

 

Når jeg prøver å installere XP så legger jeg inn S-ATA driveren som jeg har lastet ned fra ASUS.com, men det kommer alikevel opp melding om at installasjonsprogrammet ikke finner hardisken i systemet og hele greia rebooter...

 

Noen som kan hjelpe meg? Eventuelt RAID instillinger, noe i BIOS som kan være feilen?

Kjører du RAID så må du bruke to Harddisker av samme type.

 

Og du skriver finner ikke min Maxtor.

Har du kun en disk i maskinen må du Disable Raid

Ja, det var det jeg trodde, men jeg finner ikke utav hvor jeg disabler RAID...

You could use one SATA HD with out any special cable.

First besure you SATA jumper is enable like the attach of the mail.

Because you won't use RAID,so you could disable the RAID controler in BIOS.

Unzip the driver of the attach to a FDD. (note: attached was a file to use -Highgate)

When you install starting install windows press F6.

windows will find SATA driver when it don't find in disc, it will find from FDD.

Then it will find you SATA HD,and go on installing.

So, lets see if I got this correct...

1> Enable the jumpers on the board

2> Disable RAID in the BIOS

3> Unzip file onto a floppy

4> Prepair to install Windows on the Serial ATA drive, press F6 somewhere along the way (when?, after I get a message saying the the computer can't see a hard drive?), and then the system will boot from floopy, which will then allow the system to see the new drive, and then it will continue to install Windows?
