The good: Solidly built and very compact; fantastically responsive with virtually no shutter delay; most settings can be accessed without menu surfing; bright, clear LCD; even, accurate exposures.

 

The bad: Subpar macro setting; images aren't tack-sharp; automatic white balance inaccurate in artificial light.

 

The bottom line: The very solid and compact Canon PowerShot S330 is an excellent performer and a good value, though its image sharpness and detail leave something to be desired.
