Da kom staten inn i styret (Jens Chr. Hauge, Finn Lied), tok over bedriften og kastet ut VT. Men da potensiellt minus ett selvmord.

I found this story very interesting, especially because of a connection between Vebjoern Tandberg and my own father. My father, who was born in 1922 and died in 1993, was a young man in the 1930's and 40's in Oslo. His hobby was building radios and being a "ham radio" operator. Tandberg had befriended him and supplied him with radio parts for his hobby. During the war my father began building radios for the Norwegian resistance with parts that were still being supplied by Tandberg. The Germans were closing in on him and in early 1944 he escaped to Sweden. Your story does not contain any reference to Tandberg helping the resistance in this manner. Is there an untold story here somewhere?

My greatest respect to your father and his work during the war. He really helped Norway to survive WW2. Thank god for these brave men and woman.
