Imagine that!

Imagine a not corrupt system. Oh I forgot. You're American.

Akkurat.

So I wasted time analyzing what you posted and as expected it's trash wrapped in insulting amounts of silk paper. I wonder why you only post propaganda. As Kant observed, there are two sources of a faulty action, one has to do with a dysfunctional heart and the other has to do with a dysfunctional mind.

Kyle Kulinski has a good take on this:

I would reply to this post , but there is nothing here but unsubstantiated opinions and insults.

- I would like to see them continue to move in that direction.. it's still a question whether the Federal government can mandate the whole country

Whoa!

Cherry-picking data most often leads to greater ignorance. Challenging a full body of data with single points is something children in elementary school learn not to do and is a very weak counter argument.

What? Cherry picking data? Really? There are numerous studies and reports adressing this massive move to the right. The education system in the US had free education some 40 years ago. Abadoned by Reagan & his super conservative congress. Remember the folly alcohol policy during1920 ties? Came from the US. Now they want to privatize everything from prisons, schools & even war. Ask youself this: If you never know where the next genious will come from, is it not counter productive to shut out 1/3 of the population from higher education? Will the private sector capture talent? I know your answer. You will claim that students that excell in lower education will get scholarships. What a folly. Thousends of kids are slow starters. Impossible to predict who will excell. Einstein was considered as a 'medium' student & could not land a job. If he lived (in the US) today I claim he would not been accepted for a scholarship and we would have lost him. Short time profits are more important than long time investment. Sorry to say that, but it is true.

You have opinions and produce no data.  The claim was that democratic politicians have become more conservative over time, it was not about an overall trend.

if your opinion is correct you should be able to produce many objective  studies showing democratic politicians shift to the right.  The reality in the last 50 years is that the liberal wing of the Democratic Party has grown while the conservative wing has atrophied.  The racist conservative blue dogs have disappeared while northeast liberals like Sanders and Warren have gained power.  The last batch of presidential democratic candidates was the most liberal in history.  Nearly every one of them was talking about nearly free tuition and some form of medcare for all

Can you show me a more liberal democratic field in history where a front runner calls himself a “democratic socialist “?   An academic study that shows that democrats in congress have become more conservative in the last 30 years, not cherry picked individual examples?
