So you are able to get to the data. But a windows installation with broken permissions is not good and will cause a lot of problems. So preparere yourself for a reinstallasjon. So i made it so i can accsess cmd from loginscreen. Since i have access to all files and CMD, should i not be able to do a fix? Lenke til kommentar
Syar-2003 Skrevet 2. juli 2017 Rapporter Del Skrevet 2. juli 2017 (endret) All user rights ownerships is tedious and complicated when it comes to system protected directories like the two .\Program Files\ Windows folders User profile and all subfolders of theese . There is no 100% quick fix the latest windows versjon I'm aware of. Assuming you run Windows 10 , a better solution would be a windows upgrade on top and select to "keep files and settings". This would fix the broken ownerships and user permissions. I can't guarantee all is fixed for your situation but you might want to consider this as part of the approach: https://www.tenforums.com/general-support/27627-how-reset-default-file-permissions-these-directories.html Endret 2. juli 2017 av syar2003 Lenke til kommentar

So it looks like im am on a lower level admin, even tho it is the hidden one and i have recuired @takeown@ over C drive and system32. Still tells me i need to be POWER USER. The update will not work as per now. Lenke til kommentar

Boot from install media. The install will then run with full access privileges. Lenke til kommentar

Ofc, you said it, when im not IN LOGIN i have full accsess in CMD, it is only after LOGIN the problems occur. Im am a bit curious tho, how i could do it if i did not have another PC at hand. Syar-2003 Skrevet 2. juli 2017 Rapporter Del Skrevet 2. juli 2017 You need access to a windows based PC and a 8GB usb stick . Then you download media creation tool and create the usb as a windows 10 installation media. Just make sure to "compose" the exact same windows version as on your PC you are going to use it (match license). Also use the same base language . https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10ISO Lenke til kommentar

bbamse Skrevet 5. juli 2017 Forfatter Rapporter Del Skrevet 5. juli 2017 So what i did: - Got into PC repair mode - Changed the file name of CMD to work on the setch command (tapping shift 5 times)- Restart - Got to windows login screen, here i hit the bleep to get the CMD running - Activated the hidden user account and retreevd password to the other account be using /random. - I also used the command "takeown" to add rights to the local administrators group over C://windows/system32 Result: FAIL (fail to take own of C: & D: disk, still locked)So next i downloaded new OS on another machine and installed it.Result: Positive - Go control over C disk (dah, i just deleted the thing, so you know, it happend) But antoher thing- when i had this under control i now could force ownership of D: disk, where i had my files stored. So gratz to me and tnx for all help and comments on the way guys! Now i am going to do the same thing once more. Couse im am sure i could get thru without installing new OS, since i had control to the CMD on login and DOS. if you want to taggle along, say hey. tnx again. exuse the english. Lenke til kommentar

toreae Skrevet 5. juli 2017 Rapporter Del Skrevet 5. juli 2017 If you connect the harddrive to another pc, and use a partition software, then maybe it can convert to fat32. If you got files bigger than 2G you will have to use exfat. It might work... Lenke til kommentar
